Maine Lobster Festival Donates $20,000 to Museum
Representatives from the Maine Lobster Festival presented a check for $20,000 to the Maine Lighthouse Museum on Friday, March 28, 2008 inside the Kenneth N. Black Exhibition Hall.
The Maine Lobster Festival’s gift will help support the Museum’s operating costs, which include building expenses and operations associated with the organization’s public education mission. Read more...

Bright Lights Marketplace
The Maine Lighthouse Museum (MLM) in Rockland is excited to announce a special opportunity being offered exclusively to local artists and craftspersons.
During the month of December, MLM will provide a venue for local artists to sell their works to holiday shoppers at the "Bright Lights Marketplace" at the Maine Lighthouse Museum.
Tables are available to rent in MLM's lobby for $100 per four-day block. Artists may choose to reserve one or more of the following four-day blocks:
"Gallery of Light" at Maine Lighthouse Museum
The Maine Lighthouse Museum welcomes local artists to submit works for consideration to be displayed and sold in the "Gallery of Light" at Maine Lighthouse Museum. As a fundraising initiative, the Museum requests that a minimum of 10% of the proceeds from the sale of artwork in the gallery benefit the Museum.
